ANGI Award 2023, the Oscars of Innovation: Beaconforce awarded in the 'New Technology' category.

The awards ceremony of the 6th edition of the Oscars of Innovation - ANGI 2023 Prize promoted by the National Association of Young Innovators and hosted in the splendid setting of the Vibia Sabina and Adriano Temple Hall of the Rome Chamber of Commerce took place on 6 December. More than 30 awards were conferred to reward outstanding projects from the world of business and start-ups and to pay tribute to some of the leading exponents of civil society and the ruling class who have distinguished themselves for their important professional career.

The award ceremony, attended by the elite of Italian and European institutions, was an extraordinary success in terms of audience and content. Doing the honours was the President of ANGI, Gabriele Ferrieri, who commented: 'Supporting the younger generations, enhancing Italian excellence and promoting talent are the choices underlying the mission of the National Association of Young Innovators. We need to invest more in relaunching our country's ecosystem by putting innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable development at the centre of the agenda. This is our appeal to the European and Meloni governments'.

opened the conference by pointing out that 'We must accompany young people towards a new world. Never as much as today do we need to grow on the front of research, experimentation, creating new models of balance that arise from technology. The challenge of recognising and rewarding this commitment must involve all of us, and here today we have young people and start-ups that more than any other are conveying this change."

The ceremony was also attended by eminent representatives of the institutions and the business world, with speeches by the Councillor with responsibility for youth policy Lorenzo Marinone, the Director of the European Parliament Offices in Italy Carlo Corazza, the Head of Communication Representation of the European Commission in Italy Massimo Pronio the Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers with responsibility for economic policy coordination and public investment programming Alessandro Morelli, the Director General for Technological Innovation, Instrumental Resources and Communication of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy Maria Condemi, and the Director General for Industrial Policy, Innovation and SMEs of the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy Maurizio Montemagno..
